Symbria Rx Great Lakes located in Meadville, PA is looking to add a Pharmacy Delivery Driver to their team! The primary purpose of this position is to deliver medications and other supplies to all client communities and its residents. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Inspect assigned vehicle; check fluid levels, gas, and air pressure and adjust accordingly to ensure safe and proper operation. Complete vehicle inspection report daily and report any problems to the supervisor.
  • Verify all orders are properly processed and bagged for delivery.
  • Ability to follow pre-assigned delivery routes.
  • Meet the daily deadlines of scheduled medication deliveries.
  • Return all items sent back by the community to the appropriate area after each run.
  • Complete and file all documentation required regarding deliveries, including written and digital signatures establishing proof of delivery
  • Assist in the process of community returns in pharmacy software according to policies and procedures.
  • Communicates any client concerns to management.
  • Any and all duties as assigned.

Responsibilities based on Route/Location

  • Complete on-site medication replenishments at the client communities on a regular schedule.

Physical Requirements

  • The various responsibilities for a delivery driver are often physically demanding and require that the driver be in good physical condition.
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged or considerable walking, standing, reaching, stooping and bending.
  • Must be able to lift, position or transfer supplies and equipment; minimum lifting required is 60 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license and a "violation free" driving record as per the driver’s eligibility requirements.
  • General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic computer problems.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Act as a liaison between communities and pharmacy displaying professional customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays and alternate shifts for PTO/staffing coverages as 24/7/365 operational needs dictate.
