Symbria Rx is looking to add a Full-time Delivery Driver to our growing team in Woodridge, IL!
The primary purpose of this Full-time Delivery Driver position is to deliver medications and other supplies to all client communities and its residents for the Woodridge Pharmacy.
Hours:
The shift will be 11:30PM – 10:00AM.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, alternating Wednesdays.
This will be a 3 days on/3days off or 4 days on/4 days off schedule.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspect assigned vehicle; check fluid levels, gas, and air pressure and adjust accordingly to ensure safe and proper operation. Complete vehicle inspection report daily and report any problems to the supervisor.
• Verify all orders are properly processed and bagged for delivery.
• Ability to follow pre-assigned delivery routes.
• Meet the daily deadlines of scheduled medication deliveries.
• Return all items sent back by the community to the appropriate area after each run.
• Complete and file all documentation required regarding deliveries, including written and digital
signatures establishing proof of delivery
• Assist in the process of community returns in pharmacy software according to policies and
procedures.
• Communicates any client concerns to management.
• Any and all duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES BASED ON ROUTE/LOCATION
• Complete on-site medication replenishments at the client communities on a regular schedule.
To perform this job successfully, the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily is necessary and the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Pharmacy Technician License as per State requirement.
• Valid driver’s license and a violation free driving record as per the driver’s eligibility requirements.
• General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic computer problems.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Act as a liaison between communities and pharmacy displaying professional customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and alternate shifts for PTO/staffing coverages as 24/7/365 operational needs dictate.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
• Delivery driver experience.
