Your voice has power. Help others find theirs.
Imagine using your skills as a Speech Language Pathologist not just to treat—but to transform. At Lake Barrington Woods, we’re looking for a PRN SLP who’s passionate about unlocking communication, dignity, and joy for the older adult population.
If you love the idea of blending clinical excellence with heart—and being part of a supportive, forward-thinking team—this is your calling.
As a PRN SLP on our rehab team, you'll:
Create personalized treatment plans that spark progress and purpose
Collaborate with a vibrant interdisciplinary crew who values your input
Encourage, coach, and celebrate every win—big or small
Drive clinical programs that support speech, cognition, and swallowing function
Meet documentation and productivity standards (yes, it’s part of the job—but we promise, you won’t be drowning in paperwork)
And above all, you’ll give voice back to those who need it most.
Graduation from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
A current SLP license in the state of IL
A flexible schedule (some weekends included)
Bonus points if you have experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehab—but if you’re eager to learn, we’ll support your growth!
Because at Symbria, you’re not just an employee—you’re an owner.
Yes, really. We’re a 100% employee-owned company, which means your success is everyone’s success. And after 20+ years of building an employee-first culture, we’ve learned a thing or two about making people feel valued and heard.
Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) – Get a stake in the future you’re building
401(k) options with both Pre-tax and Roth
Company-paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – because we care about your well-being
A workplace that feels more like a community than a company
