    Symbria Rx Services is looking for Licensed and Certified Pharmacy Technician candidates who are interested in learning about upcoming full-time opportunities we will have at our Pharmacy in Woodridge, which include early morning, mid-day and night shifts.     Responsibilities

    The primary purpose of this position is to assist the pharmacist in the preparation of medications for distribution to Long‐Term Care (LTC) communities based on physician orders, achieved by following departmental policies and procedures within the scope of pharmacy standards.

    • Assists the pharmacist(s) on duty as their primary responsibility; performing these duties as priority.
    • Fills orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist.
    • Develops knowledge of pharmacy policies and procedures and complies with them.
    • Assists in toting area for medication deliveries as necessary.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • Pharmacy Technician License in the state of IL.
    • Previous pharmacy experience required; long-term care setting(s) preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology.
    • Strong data entry/typing skills.
    • Ability to multitask.
